Spend the holiday season at Harlem Wine Gallery

Harlem Wine Gallery, the Hamilton Heights boutique wine shop and art gallery, released their holiday schedule yesterday (Nov 13) through a news release. They have a series of activities planned for everyone to enjoy during the holiday season. Activities include:

Monday, Nov 19 – Wednesday, Nov 23 – New York Cares Clothing/Accessories Drive – Harlem Wine Gallery will accept donations of gently used clothing and accessories to benefit victims of Hurricane Sandy via New York Cares. Donations may be dropped off during business hours.

Saturday, Nov 24 – Small Business Saturday powered by American Express – shop at Harlem Wine Gallery to support and celebrate small businesses across the country. Harlem Wine Gallery will offer all American Express cardholders: 1 free bottle with a purchase of 3 or more for the day. The free bottle will have a minimum value of $10.99.

Top Five Best Selling Wines – Celebrate the holiday season with one or more of these selections by owner and president of Harlem Wine Gallery, Ken Forte.

Harlem Wine Gallery presents second art series with Brian Kirhagis

In honor of Harlem Week, the Harlem Wine Gallery, located at 752A St. Nicholas Avenue at 148th Street, will host a series of tasting events including a special reception for contemporary artist Brian Kirhagis, and a special community based event featuring other Hamilton Height businesses.

The Brian Kirhagis event will be held August 10 from 6-9 pm. Kirhagis will paint live during the tasting event.

Kirhagis is from Baltimore and considered one of New York’s most exciting young talents, according to a news release provided by Harlem Wine Gallery.

New Boutique Wine Shop and Art Gallery Opens in Harlem’s Hamilton Heights

The Harlem Wine Gallery has opened in Harlem’s Hamilton Heights, according to a news release sent to HarlemGal Inc yesterday. The Harlem Wine Gallery, which is located at St. Nicholas Avenue and 148th Street, is owned by entrepreneur Ken Forte. Forte’s vision for Harlem Wine Gallery was borne out of Forte’s long-held disappointment with the quality of retail stores in urban communities. Inside the new establishment, the racks are arranged by region, taste and cuisine. Harlem Wine Gallery will also have free tastings and events several times a week. Stop by Harlem Wine Gallery soon.
