24Need some cool clothing ware for the summer? Or an outfit to hang out at Mojo or 67 Orange? If the answer is yes, you may want to head to Bebenoir this weekend. They are having a midnight sale. If your not sure what to buy I recommend the t-shirts with the Ethiopian masks. They are the coolest! I have purchased three so far: pink with glitter masks, an off white tee with black masks and a green tee with masks for luck! Stop by for a quick look! You won’t be disappointed.

Harlem’s N Boutique moving

May 14, 2009
By HarlemGal

imagesWondering why N Boutique is closed and no signs of shopping life inside? They’re moving “a few blocks away” from their 116th Street flagship store. They are planning “a new store opening and celebrity-filled relaunch event.”

Good for them and glad t o hear they are staying in Harlem! I purchased a lovely summer dress there last season. It was very convenient to shop at N Boutique since it was centrally located in Harlem. Didn’t have to go downtown.

Looking forward to hearing more about their new location. N Boutique, if your reading HCL tell us exactly where your moving!

New York’s 104.3 is reporting that Costco is coming to Harlem! This is somewhat good news, if it is in fact true! I will still shop at our local venues. However if I need bulk in bubble gum, popcorn or cleaning products, I am so here!

UPDATE: Costco Store is opening up a store in East River Plaza, which is in East Harlem! This is Costco’s first store in Manhattan!

SoHa 118HarlemCondoLife has been hearing rumors about an upscale grocery store coming to Central Harlem. It’s a rumor no more! I spoke with Winick Realty Group today and they have confirmed that they are bringing a high end grocery store to the SoHa Building at 118th and Frederick Douglass.

Winick could not confirm who the retailer is yet. They only said that they are working on plans and hope to make an announcement soon! Like in a week in a half! We think this is good news for the area! Another option to get groceries!

If you have more details than Winick, please let us know!
