According to their Facebook page, the restaurant owned by Lance Knowling called Blujeen is now open for business in Harlem. The Harlem restaurant row establishment is located at 2143 Frederick Douglass Blvd between 115th and 116th Street!

We tried it out Blujeen and liked the food much better than next door at over-rated, over-salted Streetbird. Biscuits with mushroom sauce and blackened bass were very very good. Dessert had room for improvement though – the red velvet donuts were disappointingly dry. The very generous sized wine pours made up for it!
