Go by bier international this evening (January 3) from 5 PM to 8 PM and taste a selection of brewski from Six Point. In addition, guests will have an opportunity to talk to a brewery representative about the art of beer making! So if you’re looking for something fun to do on a Monday night, head on over to bier international in Harlem! Cheers and Happy New Year!

Watch New York City Marathon in Harlem

There are a ton of spots to watch and root the runners on for the New York City Marathon. However, there are a few limited spots that actually are not that crowded along the route. In my view, the marathon route that goes through Harlem is one of better locations that is not that crowded making it a good place to see the marathon. My favorite area is standing right where the Duke Ellington sculpture is located.  So if you’re wanting to see the marathon and actually see runners up close, come up to Harlem! Costumes galore at Harlem Meer’s 2010 Halloween Parade and Pumpkin Sail

The immaculate Fall weather was the perfect backdrop for the 2010 Halloween Parade and Pumpkin Sail located at Harlem Meer. Plus all the costumes present made the day that much brighter. I saw little dinosaurs, tigers, lions, pirates and ninjas, along with several lady bugs, a few princesses, butterflies and the occasional witch. The event was so much fun. I could not resist taking photo after photo…

Don’t forget…Central Park’s annual Halloween Parade and Pumpkin Sail is happening today at Harlem Meer and the Charles A. Dana Discovery Center (inside the Park on 110th St between Fifth and Lenox Aves). It starts at 4 PM today, October 24.

We attended last year and it was so much fun. We adored seeing all the little ones dressed up in their favorite Halloween costumes.

And take a look at all the positive comments that have been posted regarding Harlem’s newest supermarket! It appears unanimous that most readers really like the supermarket.  I know I do!

Halloween Pumpkin Sail Harlem Meer

Oct 30, 2009 @ 14:05

On October 25, we went to Central Park’s Halloween Parade and Pumpkin Sail. I believe it’s an annual event held late afternoon along Harlem Meer. If you have never attended, we recommend it – especially for families with children. It was a lot of fun. Seeing all the little tots in their costume was such a treat to see! And of course, the pumpkin sail was wonderful as well.
Enjoy our photos from the event and hope to see you there next year! HAPPY HALLOWEEN from HarlemCondoLife!
